Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Amicable (Alpha AI Services) collects, why, and who we share it with. Amicable handles sensitive personal communications, and we treat that seriously.

What we collect

• Account information: your name, email, phone number, and password (stored only as a secure hash).
• Relay data: the phone numbers involved, and the messages sent to and through your Amicable number, including the verbatim originals and the de-escalated versions we generate, with timestamps.
• Message metadata: categories (for example schedule, financial, medical) and integrity hashes we compute to keep the record tamper-evident.
• Billing information: handled by our payment processor. We store a customer and subscription identifier, not your full card number.

Why we store originals

The core purpose of Amicable is to keep an accurate, tamper-evident record of what was actually sent. For that reason we store the verbatim original of each message and do not alter or delete it as part of normal operation. This is a feature, not a side effect: your record is only useful if it is complete and unchanged.

About the other person's messages

Messages that the other parent sends to your Amicable number are stored as part of your record. The first time they contact your number, they are told it is a logged co-parenting relay. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.

How we use your information

To operate the relay, generate the calm version, keep your records, provide the dashboard, process billing, provide support, keep the service secure, and comply with law.

Who we share it with (service providers)

• Messaging carrier (to send and receive SMS).
• AI provider (to generate the de-escalated version of a message). Message text is processed to produce the calm version and is not used by us to train models.
• Payment processor (to handle subscriptions and payments).
• Hosting and database infrastructure that we control.

We share information with these providers only as needed to run the service. We may also disclose information if required by law or valid legal process, or to protect safety.

Security

Access to your data is restricted to your account. Originals are stored append-only and linked in a cryptographic hash chain so tampering is detectable. We use access controls and encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.

Retention and your choices

Because the record's value depends on completeness, we retain your messages for as long as your account is active. You can request an export of your records or ask us to close your account and delete your data, subject to any legal retention obligations. To make a request, email us at the address below.

Children

Amicable is for adults (parents and guardians). It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect accounts from children. Messages may reference children as part of co-parenting logistics; that content is part of your record and is treated with the same protections.

Changes

We may update this policy and will notify you of material changes.
